Our Brews
Paddle
A great way to sample a few before you buy a pint or middy.
Traitors Stout
A deep, complex stout inspired by the legends of the Abrolhos, featuring roasted malts and a touch of adventure.
Island Bounty XPA
A full flavoured XPA beer with tropical undertones of mango, paw-paw & pineapple. Has a hazy golden appearance with a frothy white head
Abrolhos Amber
An English style ale with less carbonation and full of flavour. A medium bodied beer with some malty weight.
Helles Gates Lager
Our take on a traditional ‘Helles’ style German lager. Full-bodied, bright, mildly sweet and light-coloured, with low bitterness.
1629 Pale Ale
Mid Ships Pale Ale
Rat Island Red
TJ Ginger Beer
Island Spice Ginger Beer
Made from the finest Australian malts and New Zealand hops. It has a moderate to high rounded bitterness and low on fruity aromas.
A mid strength based on the 1629 pale ale showcasing more hops flavour
A balanced beer using a moderate amount of kilned malts & roasted barley giving the beer the red/russet colour. Featuring an approachable hop bitterness which rests on the palate; brewed as an ale it has a medium caramel malt sweetness. A cross between a Kilkenny and a Stout
A tribute to the person suggesting we open Geraldton’s first Microbrewery. A light smooth ginger beer that leaves a pleasant after taste.
Ginger based with an after-taste kick. Chili, nutmeg and cinnamon are added to get the senses tingling

The Spirit of the Coast
It all started in our humble little shed on the Batavia Coast, where the salty sea breeze carried the scent of fresh grain and hops. The sound of our bubbling fermenter was met with laughter and the clinking of glasses as we sampled our freshly brewed beers.
We weren’t brewers chasing a business—we were beer lovers chasing a passion and a dream to share our love of tasty craft beer with the community. What began as fine-tuning recipes (using the finest grain and hops), soon became a ritual of good times and even better beer.
Friends and family sampled our creations, sharing stories, and shaping what would soon become something bigger. It was their encouragement that made us realise—we had damn good beer. This was something worth sharing.
